Super League 2: It continued with the victories of Kalamata and Kifissia
Kalamata and Kifissia achieved important results as they defeated Asteras Vlachiotis and Chania respectively and closed the gap to the first Levadiakos.
Today’s Super League 2 Group 2 program was rich as all matches were completed except for Levadiakos – Kallithea which was postponed due to coronavirus.
Kalamata won the derby 1-0 with Asteras Vlachiotis thanks to Giannis Loukinas’ header in the 54th minute. The “Black Storm” ended the game with ten players after Mavinga was sent off in the 77th minute.
Kifissia also snagged a valuable victory that temporarily climbed to third place in the table as they beat Chania 1-0 thanks to Vangelis Gotovos’ goal in the 21st minute.
From there and beyond, OF Ierapetra scored valuable victories for the previous night’s battle as they beat Rhodes 2-1 away, with the ‘Stags’ staying below the relegation zone. Herodotus achieved a major victory over Egaleo 3-0 in Crete, while the Diocese also achieved an important victory over Zakynthos 1-0.
