The sprinklers were opened at the time of AEK B’s game against Apollon Smyrnis
On Saturday (03/25) an unusual incident occurred at “Serafideio” after the sprinklers opened during AEK B’s match against Apollon Smyrnis, causing the action to be temporarily suspended until the issue was resolved.
In AEK B’s encounter with Apollon Smyrnis on Matchday 16 of Super League 2 (Group B), the lightweight brigade took the lead at the end of the first half, but there was one via Moraitis’ header in the 15th minute another event that fans remembered.
This was due to an unforeseen incident just after quarter time when the pitch’s automatic sprinklers suddenly turned on, forcing the referee to temporarily stop play until the problem was resolved and the players could continue their play undisturbed.
