The young PAOK defender, unlucky with two injuries, will play with the second team starting with Friday’s against AEL.

Marios Tsaoussis returns to competition after a long absence. The extreme defender is in the team PAOK B for the away game against AEL and logically gets his first minutes of action after the game against Asteras Tripoli in Toumba on October 23, when he picked up a knee injury.

Tsaoussis has been back to normal training for a few weeks, he was in the squad for the match against Ionikos, but he hasn’t played an official game of Dikefalos in 2023 yet. Something that will happen in the match in Larissa with Pablo Garcia gives his first minutes of participation this year.

The Greece full-back was unlucky again after suffering a knee injury when he suffered a concussion on New Year’s Eve. He had previously shown that he could overcome a knee injury when he took part in the preparations for the double-header in Cyprus during the World Cup break. Since the beginning of February he had entered a phase of reintegration into the normal training rhythm.

Now, like Ingi Ingason and Yiannis Michaelidis in the past, he will play with PAOK’s second team to put together games and get back to the level he was at before his injuries.

PAOK B’s squad for tomorrow’s match against AEL includes: Balomenos, Monastirlis, Tsopouroglou, Tsaousis, Morikeli, Panagiotou, Giaxis, Kitsakis, Meletidis, Salamouras, Ninoua, Darelas, Ouedraogo, Grosdis, Hadjistravos, Brandonits, Spyridis, Spyrakos, Panidis , Gordeziani .
