Athens Kallithea – Progressive 1-0: Kynigopoulos did the job and kept it behind Kifissia
Athens’ Kallithea beat Progressive 1-0 thanks to Kynigopoulos’ goal and remain in the hunt for leaders Kifisia.
Athens Kallithea did their duty against Proodeftii as they won 1-0 in El Paso and fell behind leaders Kifisia in Super League 2 Group B.
Kynigopoulos scored the golden goal for Giorgos Simos’ team in the 23rd minute. The same player had a chance to score, but his shot from a corner kick from the left was blocked by the post in the 14th minute.
Nothing changed in the second half either, it remained 1-0 in favor of the hosts. Athens Kallithea has 36 points and is -4 behind Kifissia with the same number of games, while Progressive remain in a difficult position with 14 points.
