Herodotus was relegated from Super League 2
Super League 2 announced the expulsion of Herodotus from the league, as he fell more than three times on an offense related to non-payment of monetary compensation to football players.
Herodotus was banned from Super League 2. The Nea Alikarnassos team will no longer participate in the championship following a decision by the organizing authority.
Herodotus has been ousted three times for violating penalties triggered for failure to pay compensation to footballers.

“The Organizing Authority has barred PAE PASA Herodotus from the Betsson Super League 2 Championship, 2022-2023 season, as well as from the Under-19 Championship, 2022-2023 season, pursuant to Article 25, Paragraph 3 of the Property Ordinance by its decision Transfers of Footballers of the EPO , for falling more than three times into an offense related to penalties activated for non-payment of financial compensation to football players.
