Three points to Veria and +5 from AEL, who fell to a new Super League 2 Gel A group

Veria was the big winner of Game 24 as they beat Apollon Larissa 1-0 away while AEL drew with Apollon Pontou in Alkazar. Now the Queen of the North is just +5 ahead of the second Crimson, taking another crucial step for the first of the A’ group.

The double left Anagennisi Karditsa Trikala while Niki Volou scored an important three against Thesprotos 3-1.

Pasha leads them upstairs

With the usual suspect Giannis Pasha finding his way into the net, he scored his 19th goal of the season, Veria returned, albeit with difficulty, to wins, claiming the three-pointer and, combined with the loss of AEL points, made another move for first place in Group A’ of Super League 2.

Important three points for Niki Volou

Volos’ victory earned a significant three points, beating Thesprotos 3-1, with all goals coming in the first part of the game.

Kouskounas opened the scoring for Stergiou in the 17th minute to equalize in the 22nd minute. However, within two minutes, in 42′ and 44′, Niki Volou scored two goals with Vlachomitros and Athanassiou and made it 3:1, which was the final result.

Almopos Arideas’ game against Kavala ended in a 1-1 draw and the visitors added another point to their fight for survival.
