Makedonikos 1-0 Almopos Aridaias: Redemption from the white bullet in added time
With a well-timed penalty from Tsoukanis in the fourth minute of added time, the Macedonians defeated Almopos Aridaias 1-0 for Super League 2 Group A and moved up to 7th in the table.
The game between Makedonikos and Almopos Aridaias for the A’ group of Super League 2 went to the final whistle with both teams remaining goalless, but with the final approaching, the game offered great emotion to the crowd.
And that’s because the home side didn’t stop for a moment to attempt the coveted goal, only to squander a huge double chance in the 89th minute until they were justified in added time.
Then, when Sarantidis won a penalty from Dokitic and Tsoukanis took over the execution to hit the opposing goalkeeper as an ally with the crossbar and give his team the win, he moved them to 7th place in the table.
