Derbara in “El Paso” with six goals and Athens Kallithea turned the game against Kifissia in the last few minutes
Athens Kallithea fell behind 3-1 at 87′ but with two goals in six minutes, at 87′ and 90+3′, they made it 3-3 and turned the game on its head, with the visitors staying 6 from second Apollo of Smyrna.
A great match between two of Super League 2’s best sides took place in El Paso on Monday afternoon in an all-out derby. Six goals, suspense, disputed stages and Athens Kallithea, despite falling 3-1 down in the 87th minute, with two goals in six minutes to equalize 3-3, which was the final score.
Kifisia, unable to keep the result in his favour, managed to grab a point at Kallithea’s home ground to stay +6 ahead of second team in the standings, Apollo Smyrnis.
It was the visitors who opened the scoring in the 9th minute when the match referee awarded a penalty for a handball on Koltsidas, with Kouiroukidis taking the lead and putting his team ahead.
Athens Kallithea upped the ante, putting pressure on Kifissia and equalizing in the 37th minute after a Santana header from a Matias counterattack.
In the second half, Kifissia increased his performance and in the 51st minute, a nice goal from Pritsa, who nicely “stabbed” the ball, took the lead again in front of Vlachos, went into the penalty area and defeated Bosniadis.
In the 66th minute, Tetei scored an excellent goal after an individual energy and a left-footed shot from the penalty area and seemed to ‘secure’ victory for his team.
