Demetrius’ header at 90+3′ that gave Athens Kallithea the draw
Kifissia appeared to have the three victory points in hand but Athens’ Kallithea didn’t give up the game and was justified in the final when Demetrius headed the ball into the net to make it 3-3.
A top derby with all the trimmings was watched by the El Paso spectators in the stands on Monday afternoon (April 10) as part of Super League 2, when Kifisia took the lead with Tetei in the 66th minute with two goals and are yet to come let “Close” the game, but for Athens Kallithea to show character and celebrate in the final.
And that’s because they reduced the score in the 87th minute and again complained about a positive result, which actually came about in the 90th + 3rd minute thanks to their players quickly switching from defense to attack, with Demetrius capitalized on the inattention in Kifissia’s defense and defeated Anagnostopoulos with a header to make it 3-3.
