Athens Kallithea’s main shareholder, Andrew Barroway, was arrested on Thursday March 23 for assaulting his wife and spent the night in custody pending release on bail.
The main shareholder of Athens Kallithea, Andrew Barrowaywas arrested on Thursday, March 23, in Aspen, Colorado, for attempted strangulation and second degree assault involving his wife.
The arrest of the 57-year-old businessman took place at the Limelight Hotel at 9:35 p.m. after his wife called the authorities.
Barroway spent the night in jail and was released the next day on $2,500 bail.
According to US media, he has been banned from direct contact with his wife except on matters affecting their children. In addition, it is forbidden to consume alcohol.
Barroway was also suspended by the NHL as a minority shareholder in the Arizona Coyotes pending a hearing.
