Rhodes – AEK B ‘1-0: Victory after a month for the ‘Stags’
Rhodes defeated AEK B’ 1–0 at home thanks to a 30th-minute header from Kevin Hysi and they escaped from the relegation zone, with Union complaining that the ball didn’t cross the line, in the head of an Albanian midfielder.
Rhodes scored a stunning victory in his battle to stay in the category, defeating AEK B’ for the postponed game of game 14 of Super League 2, staying away from the three-pointers for the fifth straight season. On the other hand, the Stags celebrated the three-pointer a month after beating Rhodes on February 13. In the last 14 games he has recorded two draws and eleven defeats apart from one win.
The goal for the Hirsche was scored by Kevin Hussey with a header in the 29th minute, with the Union people protesting violently that the ball did not go over the line.
The visitors missed an important opportunity to equalize, but Christopoulos’ position after a foul by Giousis was neutralized by Theodorakis. Of course, it was the Rodites who got closer to making it 2-0 when Saado sent the ball over the crossbar after a foul by Delaportas with a spot that stayed 1-0 until the final whistle.
