Aegaleo – Panachaiki 0-2: The Achaeans overtook “City” and climbed to fourth place
Panachaiki defeated Aegaleo in Stavros Mavrothalassitis to move up to fourth place in Super League 2 Group B. Linardos and Bourlakis were the scorers for Yiannis Vogiatzis’ team.
Panachaiki returned to winning ways in Super League 2 as they defeated Aegaleos 2-0 on Matchday 21 of Group B. This was the Achaeans’ first victory with Giannis Vogiatzis at the helm.
In the first half, Panachaiki got close to goal, but Bourlakis’ shot from outside the box was stopped by Sikalas’ crossbar. Three minutes later, Aegaleo was the one who got close when Silva, after a foul by Ramirez, sent the ball first to the Kolovouris post in his attempt to clear the ball. The two teams went into the dressing room tied at 0-0.
In the second 45th minute, the Achaeans came into play strongly and in the 48th minute Linardos took the lead and in the 67th minute Bourlakis sealed the double for his team. Panachaiki moved up to fourth place with 36 points (they paid the fees to the players and got the points back), while “City” stayed at 23 and sits at +8 from Progressive, with whom they are fighting to stay.
