Makedonikos – Panserraikos 0-1: Golden victory through an own goal in the 90+4′ for the North champions in Super League 2

After five games in a row, Panserraikos were 2-0 (intervened by beating Apollo Larisas without a match) and this time there was no draw. THE Macedonian defended, but bowed with an own goal in the 4th minute of added time and the “lions” got a great victory 1-0 for the 21st matchday of the northern group of the Super League 2.

The Löwen had the upper hand for most of the game and could have taken an early lead by winning a penalty in the 13th minute. Admir Bairovic scored but former Serrai goalkeeper Stefanos Gounaridis put an end to his 0/18 from 11 yards, falling to the right to make it 0-0.

The guests missed chances, especially with Viktor Stina, but the hosts didn’t give up. Gounaridis made key interventions whenever necessary, while Pavlos Dermitzakis made changes between the two coaches, directing stopper Tasos Papazoglou to play in attack in the final minutes.

The siege of the Macedonian’s home eventually bore fruit in a paradoxical way. In the 4th minute of stoppage time, Marios Sofianos headed a cross and Feizi Hasanoglu tried to clear with a header. However, the ball actually caught the outgoing Gounaridis and landed in his team’s goal, resulting in Panserraikos winning 1-0.
