Athens Kallithea defeats Panachaiki and stays behind Kifissia, Kalamata passed Ilioupolis
Athens’ Kallithea returned to winning ways, surprisingly defeating Panachaiki 3-1 and continuing their pursuit of leaders Kifisia. Double for Kalamata, exciting match in Aegaleo.
Athens Kallithea returned to winning results for the B group Super League 2, when Panachaki won 3-1 at Grigoris Lambrakis and even with an upset, as part of the 23rd matchday.
Giorgos Simos’ team threatened in the 38th minute, but Santana’s shot from distance was stopped by Kolovouris on the crossbar. The Achaeans were lucky to take the lead with Topal in the 45+2′ and go into the dressing room in front of goal.
Athens’ Kallithea turned the game around and even within four minutes thanks to two goals from Yiannis Loukinas in the 52nd and 55th minutes. Loukinas missed a hat-trick when his shot bounced off the post in the 81st minute and in the 90th + 4th minute Nambi set up the final score.
Thanks to those three points, Athens Kallithea fell to two points ahead of Kifisia (with a game in hand), while Panachaiki stayed at 39.

Kalamata also overtook Ilioupoli with a 1-0 win to continue their unbeaten streak in the league. Karagounis scored Messinia’s golden goal in the 72nd minute.
Earlier, Ilioupoli had threatened Bastakos but his attempt was stopped at the left post by Mendes. In the 89th minute, the same footballer won a penalty from Lupano’s cover, but Mendes intercepted Felipe’s penalty in the 90th + 6th minute and Kalamata took the three points.
Kalamata rose to 37 points while Ilioupoli is down three. The two sides are secure in terms of whereabouts while also being quite far from the top.

Episkopi got the three points at 90+6′
It was a nerve-wracking game at Stavros Mavrothalassitis as Episkopi defeated Aegaleos 2-3. “City” took the lead in the 6th minute with Kollas in the 6th minute.
The Cretans immediately responded with Voukelatos in the 13th minute, which was also in the score of the first part. Episkopi turned the game upside down with Abafou in the 57th minute. The hosts responded just before the break, in the 89th minute with Furlanos, but Kefalas gave the three points to Episkopi.
Aegaleo stayed 23 points above the relegation zone while Episkopi has 12 and remains alive to follow the miracle of the night before.
