Kavala owner Alex Haditagi attacked the majority of Argonauts players in a message on Kavala’s official site, as he labeled 23 of the 29 players in the Argonauts roster as tourists.

Alexander Haditagi attacked the majority of Kavala footballers in a personal statement, noting in his message that only six of the 29 footballers play with fighting spirit and are worthy of his expectations.

The owner of “Argonauts” emphasized that if the team does not make 3/3 in the next few games, the squad will be evaluated and six players will leave early.

Kavala started with amateur footballers in Super League 2, but improved their squad after January and tried to save the category, but for the time being remained on the last place of the first group.

With 3 months approaching the time we’re together and the fact that we’re reaching the final 10 games of the season, I think it’s important to have an honest and open discussion about where we are today and what we need to do in the future next 12 days. !

As we are bottom of Super League 2 and facing relegation to the Third National Division, this is a position and situation that I don’t think should suit you or please you! But how did we get here?

I know we had a difficult start and started 0-0-7. But our problems are much more than that. I feel our problems are with the current team that we have.

We signed 29 players and only 6 players seem to have lived up to the expectations of playing for Kavala and our team! I feel like there are only these 6 players we can rely on in every game! I won’t mention who these 6 players are. I’m sure you know who I’m talking about.

The fact is that the remaining 23 players have become tourists in the city and in our football team. They show no fighting spirit, pride or will to win. This is an absolute disappointment and a heartbreaking sight.

Their games are watched and supported by some of Greece’s best fans. You had a crowd of 3,000-4,000 fans that came and watched you play and left the field frustrated and irritated! No other team in Greece Super League 2 has such support from the fans like you!

You are wearing a beautiful, historical uniform that has been worn by hundreds of good and passionate footballers who have played, killed and died for this team. They are currently fighting for almost 60 years of history!

Are you wondering if you were a fan of AO Kavala, would you be happy with your presence on the pitch?

We have 3 very important games in the next 12 days. If we want to stay in Super League 2 we have to win all 3 games. 3 games, 9 points!

If we don’t win all 3 games our season is over. IT’S OVER. Any hope, trust and confidence that the beautiful city of Kavala, its fans and I have shown you will end!

Not winning the next 3 games means for most of you that mainly C’ national teams from all over the world or even the end of their football career will be interested. If you couldn’t play and offer in the Greek Super League 2, how will you play in another country’s first or second national division?

If we don’t win the next 3 games we will evaluate the roster and immediately terminate a small number of contracts to reduce the roster to 22 players. Your home may be in Greece, Australia, South Africa, France, Austria, Serbia, Iran, Israel, Latvia, Estonia, Nigeria, Germany… it doesn’t matter six (6) footballers will return home. You win as a team and you lose as a team.

If staying in Greece doesn’t help us win games, then why are you keeping us here?

The next 3 games will make a difference for this city and the future of your soccer career! You play hard and hungry, then you have chances for a better future as a footballer in AO Kavala or any other team. You only lose one point, your whole goal of coming to Greece and our journey together is lost! This is my last call to you.

It is up to you to decide what your future and destiny will be. Some people dream of success…while others wake up and work hard for it.

There’s only one way to be successful at anything, and that’s to give it your all. A difficult moment can be overcome more easily when we believe that there is a purpose to our existence—a cause and legacy to pursue, a person to love, a goal to achieve. What is your purpose in life?

When I was younger I believed that the key to success was just hard work. But the real foundation is passion, faith and determination. Belief – the idea “I can do it” – is the opposite of fear (“What if I fail?”). And faith creates motivation and passion, which in turn leads to commitment, hard work, intelligence, preparation… and ultimately, success.

Nothing in this world can replace perseverance. The talent? Nothing is more common than failed talent. The intelligence? Intelligence without reward is almost a proverb. Education? The world is full of scattered educated people. Perseverance and determination alone are omnipotent.

Invincible determination and passion can accomplish almost anything and that’s the big difference between tall men and short men. We must remember that one determined person can make a difference and that a small group of determined and passionate people can change the course of history.

Within each of us lies a hidden reservoir of determination. Determination to keep us fighting when all seems lost. When everyone else has left you. For most of you, it’s time to find that hidden determination and passion! The true soldier does not fight because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.

So in this difficult fight and fight, who and what are you fighting for? How would you like to remember this moment in your life 10 or 20 years from now?“.
