Athens Kallithea defeated Apollon with a hat-trick and goals and remains hopeful for the championship

The program of the 27th game day of the Super League 2 was opened with the duel in El Paso. Athens Kallithea easily defeated Apollon Smyrna 3-0 and continued the hunt for Kifissia.

Giorgos Simos’ side opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a wonderful header from their first goalscorer, Yannis Loukinas, following a sweet cross from Kynigopoulos. Seven minutes later, Giorgos Simou’s players exchanged the ball beautifully again and Omar Santana sent the ball into Kotsaris’ net after Kynigopoulos’ move.

The pace of the game slowed down in the second half, but the home team managed to score a third goal. Matiya committed a foul just outside the box and sent it deep into Kotsari’s net.
