Apollon Pontou: “Veria’s lawsuit is false, he will be held accountable in court”

Published

PAE Apollon Pontou countered Veria’s complaint that coach Dimitris Kalaitzidis had hit one of the Imathia team’s officials, stressing that the complaint was false and they would be held accountable in court.

The game between Apollon Pontos and Veria in Polykastro eluded the sporting context. The Imathia team complained that Apollo coach Dimitris Kalaitzidis punched one of the team’s officials, Sakis Voulgaris.

Apollo responded with an official statement that this incident was wrong and that the Imathia team would be held accountable in court.

More specifically, the announcement of Apollo Pontos states: As we have witnessed blatant lies and slander being written against Mr. Dimitris Kalaitzidis over the past few hours, we must clarify the following in order to restore the truth and actual facts.

PAE Veria began to provoke and dynamize today’s decisive game between us at the beginning of the previous week.

First with doubts about the suitability of the field on which our team competes in this year’s entire championship and of course with the appropriate authorization from the competent authorities!

Subsequently, PAE Veria attempted to artificially expose by leaking to the local press that PAE Apollon Pontos does not award tickets despite knowing that we cannot accommodate guests as we are not licensed by the region to entertain people at our games became .

The main point was her request to referee today’s game to a higher category referee as if we didn’t want equality and justice in today’s crucial game between us!

We hope they were at least happy with today’s refereeing performance, which by and large did not cause any major complaints from either team.

Regarding the alleged alleged beating of the alleged caretaker of the PAE Veria, we emphasize that these are lies proven in the most deafening manner.

Our team arrived at Polykastro Stadium much earlier than planned and was practically alone in the stadium with some police officers present.

Mr. Voulgaris appeared, claiming to be the visiting team’s manager, without any official document confirming this so far from PAE Veria!

He himself provoked the managers of PAE Apollon Pontou and Mr. Dimitris Kalaitzidis with his behavior and his words, with the result that EVERYONE reacted and asked the reason for the inappropriate behavior.

We were then told that Mr Voulgaris appeared to be injured… and we were asked to sue Mr Kalaitzidis!

Unfortunately, this special gentleman wasn’t the only one injured… who then watched the game from the comfort of the stands and made his way to the Polykastro Health Center and the police, where he made a false report!

People say that the one who chokes on the hair gets caught and in the situation the nice team of Imathia is definitely justified… the above behavior!

Already now, of course, the PAE Apollon Pontos and its legal staff will proceed in all directions to restore the truth and hold those who have damaged the PAE’s image accountable before the judiciary“.

Eugeniou: “There’s no way I can take on other people’s debts”

Published

The owner of Iraklis, Stratos Evgeniou, makes it clear with his statement on the team’s official website that he will not pay off the debt to Bogdan Mara.

The news of the arbitration court was unpleasant for Heracles, as Bogdan Mara’s request for debt forgiveness was not accepted.

Giraios must now immediately pay off the debts to Roumanos, which exceed 200,000, otherwise he will be excluded from the Super League 2 championship. The owner of POT Heraklis, Stratos Evgeniou, made it clear with his statement on the group’s website that it has not changed its position on the specific issue and the specific debts will not be paid. This fact means that the old man’s future is more than threatening.

What Stratos Evgeniou said in detail on the team page: Following the rejection of the request of POT HERACLES, communicated to us today Wednesday, September 27, 2023, by the Football Arbitration Court of the Hellenic Football Association, for the resumption of the trial in the case of the former football player IOAN BOGDAN MARA, in a case in which our PAE with another PAE, which operated 13 years ago with a different VAT number, different headquarters, etc., I would like to remind you that from the first moment this issue arose, my position was clear to everyone that I will try to support the overall recovery and regeneration efforts of the team, but also that under no circumstances will I take on other people’s debts, especially debts incurred 10 and 13 years ago.

I play football because I love it and for NO other reason!!!

I have my businesses, my family and my friends, I can live without them.

Together with my colleagues, I made great efforts to lead the team to where it really belongs, even under particularly adverse conditions in which we had to deal with many problems every day, especially problems of a not only financial nature which we never expected to be asked to solve. Nevertheless, we put the team back on the Greek football map cleanly and honestly and started again.

The expectations may be high, but it is impossible for me to live up to today’s facts and current conditions“.

The EPO arbitration tribunal announced that Heracles’ request to have Bogdan Mara’s case overturned was rejected by a majority, putting its participation in Super League 2 at serious risk.

The news is unpleasant for Heraklis, as the request to reopen the Bogdan Mara case was rejected by the EPO arbitration tribunal.

This means that Gerai’s management will have to pay a sum of 200,000 euros, otherwise it will be excluded from the Super League 2 championship.

Specifically, the EPA announcement states: The EPO Football Arbitration Tribunal made the following decision at its last meeting.

Rejects by majority the motion to withdraw, review and renegotiate the PAE POT. Hercules vs. former professional footballer Ioan Bogdan Mara and Decision No. 144/2023 of the EPA Football Arbitration Court“.

Everything points to Heracles staying in Kautanzoglio without spectators at the games

The non-licensing of Kavtanzoglio puts Heraklis in a difficult position and the most likely solution at this point is to stay there but play its home games without spectators.

Kavtanzoglio does not have a license to host matches, putting Iraklis, who use it as their home ground, in an extremely difficult position as the Thessaloniki side look to build another stadium for their Super League 2 matches.

The Kilkis Stadium solution is not progressing as it does not meet the conditions. The people of Herakles have reached out to all available stadiums in Thessaloniki but have so far received only negative responses.

Given the current data, which option will be the most likely? Choosing to stay inside Kautanzoglio plays his games behind closed doors. There is also the solution of the auxiliary field in the stadium, where 900 fans can fit in the stands, but the people of Gerai don’t want that.

So everything indicates that the blue and whites will eventually remain in their natural home, but will be deprived of the presence of their friends.
