Panathinaikos II 3-1 Iraklis Larissa: Back on track with a hat-trick and an upset in Group A
Panathinaikos II prevailed against Iraklis Larisas after a difficult defeat by Diagoras to secure an upset 3-1 victory for Group A in the 28th game of Super League 2 for Group A.
Panathinaikos B’ fell behind from the 30th minute in their home game against Iraklis Larisas on Matchday 28 of Super League 2 but came back to secure a comfortable 3-1 victory for Group A.
The team from Larissa remained on the 12th place and the relegation zone and continues to fight for the league.
The visitors took the lead in the 30th minute with a header from Tasioulis but the Greens responded immediately and Athanasakopoulos equalized with a well-timed penalty six minutes later.
In the second half, the hosts took the lead for the first time, Martini made it 2-1 with a shot and turned the game around. Panathinaikos II’s victory was sealed with a penalty by Sardelis in the 73rd minute to make the final 3-1.
