PAE Episkopi issued an announcement for refereeing the game against Egaleo, speaking of “psychological violence” that provided new data in the second part of the game. He accuses ERT of acting in a discriminatory manner.

Egaleo’s game against Episkopi for Game 26 of Super League 2 had an episodic final as the result was formed with a well-aimed penalty kick by the hosts in 90+7 minutes of play.

An offense that was suggested at the end by the referee of the game, after consulting his assistants, as he had shown the ball was out of bounds in the first year, following the phase in which Arnarellis and Gonzalves were the stars.

A few hours after the final of the match at Stavros Mavrothalassitis, PAE Episkopi issued a statement speaking about the ongoing psychological violence. At the same time, the Cretans attacked ERT, who they accuse of discrimination because the team’s coach, Jasminko Velic, was not given the floor in the flash interview.

The relevant announcement:

With the psychological violence that existed, it was natural to see some in the first half and others in the second. Mr. Koukoulas had a decision to make in ’93. First he gave up, then he “lost” and in the end, after consultation with the 4th referee, he awarded a penalty so that we could “golden the pill” and end the game without much whining.

We’re not seeing it for the first time, but it’s not an attitude to be able to dream of the football we want to see. An arbitration that decided in our team’s favor immediately after the penalty, as if to right the ‘wrong’, and so the decision was made at a point where nothing can change after that…

PS1 For ERT we understand the time pressure for a direct connection to another stadium, but that doesn’t concern our club at all. A football event was covered and discriminated against under pressure, allowing only the Egaleo coach, Mr Charalambidis, to explain.

How can we find such actions compatible?

Finally, we thank PAE Egaleo for the hospitality and wish the team the best of luck
