Panathinaikos B’ – Zakynthos 1:1: New gel for the clover
Panathinaikos B’ failed to bend Zakynthos’ reaction and stayed another game away from victory. The guests were ahead with the “cloverleaf” to equalize and stay at 1-1 until the end of the game.
In a new game, this time at home, Panathinaikos suffered a 1-1 draw with Zakynthos in Aspropyrgos. The greens were back in play and could only compensate and avoid defeat.
The Klee may have had the initiative for the movements from the start, but they lagged behind in the final effort. On the other hand, Zakynthos chose to give space and play against it. They were the first to threaten in the 16th minute when Cameron was in the penalty area, shooting from the left but Xenopoulos found the ball as well as he should and sent it over the bar.
With the start of the second part, Zakynthos took the lead in 49 minutes. When Nikolakopoulos fouled directly from the left, Xenopoulos fended off with too much effort, but Odone watched the phase and scored with a place 0:1 in front of an empty house.
Panathinaikos equalized in the 71st minute when Marathonitis fired from a position on the right, Mendes saved but Koutsias was slammed into the back post and made it 1-1 by a margin.
By the end of the game, the Klee still had two good moments to get the total fall but he didn’t succeed and it stayed at 1-1.
