The relevant announcement states:
“PAE Ionikos is pleased to announce the acquisition of Christos Tassoulis!
As a footballer with a lot of experience and many appearances in the first division, he comes to Nice to wear the blue and white with the star on his chest.
He is a 32-year-old left-back who started his career in Asteras Tripoli infrastructure. In the summer of 2010 he played for Athinaikos and then for Fostiras. His performances in the Tavros team were enough to open the door for him to the first category but also for his transfer to Panionios.
He played in 91 games with the Blue-Reds, scoring 1 goal and 4 assists while pursuing his dream abroad in the 2017/18 season, playing with Lance in Ligue 2.
From the summer of 2018 he returned to Asteras Tripoli from where he was released a few days ago and played 76 games with 3 goals and 2 assists. At the same time, he was also called up to the men’s national team, but did not take part in any games and sat on the substitutes’ bench.
Christo, we wish you good health and achieve your goals with our team. We welcome you to the Ionian family!
