Niki Volou’s Facebook post said:
“Some games go beyond the four lines of the field and touch the souls of people who need warmth. Of help. From a single source to take each other and move on with their lives.
This match that took place today between Renaissance Karditsa and Niki Volos had this purpose: the relief of some of our fellow human beings who are today deprived of what should be taken for granted by everyone.
“We would like to thank everyone who was in the stadium today, but also those who supported this cause by purchasing a ticket.”
“In these moments that our district is going through, people need people,” says Niki characteristically.
