Episkopi – AEK B ‘1-3: Double in Rethymno with Youssi as the protagonist
AEK B’ left Rethymno with the double and defeated Episkopi 3-1 as part of the 32nd game of Super League 2 in Group B. Giousis scored two goals for the Union, with Christopoulos scoring the third, while Noikokoirakis was the diocese’s goalscorer.
Episkopi suffered a 3-1 home loss to AEK B in their 32nd game of Super League 2 in Group B. All the goals of the game were scored in the second half while the main protagonist of the game was Christos Giousis who scored two goals for Union.
Panagiotaras’ team controlled the game from the first part, but lacked the final pass, so both teams went into the dressing room with a tie.
Early in the second half, Youssef put the Union ahead in 47′ who tried a powerful shot from outside the penalty area and sent the ball into Kalogerakis’ net to make it 0-1. Just five minutes later, he doubled AEK’s goals, scoring from the white ball.
Episkopi temporarily reduced with Noikokyrakis in the 60′ but the visitors retained the lead, with Christopoulos sealing the win in the 90′ to make the final 1-3.
