Rhodes will not go down in the Super League 2 game with Kalamata
Rhodes announced it would not go down for the 32nd game of Super League 2’s second group due to the non-stop games and the injuries sustained in the game with Kalamata.
Rhodes hosted Kalamata for the 32nd game of Super League 2 on Sunday (17/4). Rodites announced that they will not go down in the game as they are unable to react due to injuries and back-to-back games.
Mathematically delegated to the Third National, the Rhodes team has been struggling with their squad for months while being forced to play under the bars with defender Sulai in many games.
The Announcement of Rhodes:
“We are aware of the responsibility we have towards the team and its fans because the health of the players is a priority for all of us, due to the three consecutive months of games with four players injured, which we cannot react to tomorrow’s game with the Kalamata team.
“After suspending the league and game commitments for ten days over the Easter period, we hope to be prepared from our footballers’ injuries so we can return to the next two remaining games.”
