The President of PSAPP, Giorgos Bandis, was a guest on the show “Must Go On” and, among other things, referred to the problems of the footballers in Super League 2 as well as his tragic personal experience.

Giorgos Bandis spoke to Show Must Go On and Pantelis Diamantopoulos, Ilias Kallonas about the problems faced by footballers in Greece, especially in Super League 2, but also about the PSAPP documentary CHAOS, which is all about Greek football of the second League describes.

At the same time, he recalled a personal experience when, in a team that was playing, some people with chains entered the locker room and threatened them because they were losing 1-0 at halftime.

“I will tell you my own story. I was in a team where we lost 1-0 at halftime. We are fighting to save ourselves, even though the team is historic. This team’s management system was a bit confused.” . We didn’t know who was leading the team. Team, we heard different things. So at halftime there were four… answers with thick chains. I don’t know if they were armed or not. For me, the locker room is something sacred for football players, especially during half-time, where we need to be given the necessary instructions to navigate it.

They started screaming, shouting and threatening that we wouldn’t leave here if the game wasn’t turned around. In fact, we were informed that these gentlemen have been leading the team for a few days. Luckily for us, the trainer, who was and is a strong personality, stepped in and said, “It’s either them or us.” And fortunately, and with the help of people, they were removed from the group. But imagine how we felt back then.
