Davelis: “If Dermitzakis resigns, I will resign as president of AEL”
There were ups and downs at AEL after the game against Heraklis and the resignation of Pavlos Dermitzakis, with the president of the Larissa team stressing that he will also resign if the Greek coach leaves.
Developments at AEL continue, with team president Achillea Davelis stressing on Wednesday evening that if Pavlos Dermtizakis steps down, he will also step down from the team’s presidency.
AEL issued a statement expressing its support for the veteran coach. The team’s president took over the baton, making it clear on the “THESSALY SPORT” program that he did not want the Greek coach to leave.
He specifically stated the following:
“If Dermitzakis resigns, I will resign as president of AEL, a big apology on behalf of all the people of Larissa for what was heard against Mr. Dermitzakis.”
