PAOK B’ draw, home wins for Athens Kallithea and Ioniko

PAOK B’s game against Aeolikos opened the matchday five program in Group A of Super League 2, with the two teams ending in a goalless 0-0 draw.

The game was largely even (Aeolikos had a greater share of possession and the final score was 5-8 in their favour), with both teams having some good periods at both homes where they were able to score, but to no avail.

Second three-pointer in a row for Athens Kallithea

Athens Kallithea scored its second consecutive win at home, this time overcoming the Iuchta obstacle 1-0.

Yiannis Loukinas scored the golden goal for Alekos Bosniadis’ team in the 51st minute. With these three points, Athens Kallithea overtook Iuchta in the overall standings and reached seventh place, two points less than the leader Kalamata, who has the absolute top value.

Ionikos returned to victory

Ionikos returned to winning ways, defeating Tilykratis Lefkada 1-0 in Nikea. Giorgos Simos’ team took the lead through Oikonomidis in the 5th minute, which determined the final score.

In fact, Nikaiotes missed an important opportunity to score a second goal, but Zahavi and Giakoumakis failed to score in the 36th minute.

Ionikos also reached seven points but has a game more than Kalamata, while Tilykratis remained on three points.
