Kallithea kept his math hopes alive for first place in the southern group of Super League 2, prevailing 3-0 from AEK B’ in Serafideio. A great protagonist for Leonidas Vokolos’ team is Anthony Mounier, who scored two goals.
Kallithea became the first team to score a double in Serafideio, beating AEK B 3-0 in a postponed game of Super League 2 game 27. With that result, Leonidas Vokolos’ team stayed alive and claimed first place in the southern group with five points fewer than Levadiakos, two games before the final.
The game was quite interesting, both teams created chances with both hosts, but the guests were superior and finally prevailed. They initially took a two-goal lead thanks to two goals from Mounier in the first half.
The well-placed French midfielder defeated Hadjiemmanuel after a Malci spin inside the box, while four minutes later it was Manthatis’ turn to level his assist with a spin from the right. The French midfielder with a nice placement made it 2-0 again.
Things got even worse for Nikos Panagiotaras’ team in the 45th minute when Moustakopoulos made a hard foul on Mounier who left the counterattack, saw the yellow card which was the second and left his team of ten players.
The final score was set in 56′ by Tsintonis. Maltsi stole the ball from Babis in midfield, saw the movement of Kallithea’s striker and passed the ball to him and he made it 3-0 with a cool pass.
