First defeat for Levadeiakos in Super League 2, goalkeeper in the victories for Apollon Pontou in Kautanzoglio

Levadeiakos failed to overcome the Macedonian obstacle and suffered his first loss of points. Apollon Pontou saved three points to beat Heraklis in Kautanzoglio, while Niki Volou easily scored three points in Mytilini.

The first point defeat for Levadeiakos came on the ninth matchday of Super League 2 of the A’ group, when Nikos Nioplia’s team played a 2-2 draw with Makedonikos in Nea Efkarpia.

The Boeotians took the lead in the 26th minute through Romo’s header. The hosts fought to equalize and in the 33rd minute Hasek’s shot hit the post. Levadeiakos made it 2-0 with Tsapras in the 44th minute, but a minute later Pirinen scored an own goal and the Macedonian reduced the score to 2-1.

In the second half, the Macedonian scored a second goal with Simoni in the 63rd minute, it remained 2-2 until the end and both teams got one point each. Levadeiakos is at the top of the standings and has +5 from AEL, while Macedonia has 10 points.

Apollo Pontos’ first threesome

Apollon Pontou celebrated its first win in the championship when it beat Heraklis 1-0 in Kautanzoglio.

Giraos missed a great chance to score in the fifth minute, but Kinalis caught Kousta’s penalty and ensured the ball remained goalless. Kardaris scored the golden goal for Cyril Kali’s team in the 77th minute from a free kick from Moomin. In fact, this was Apollo’s only finale in the game.

With these three points, Apollon surpassed Heracles and Aeolikos to five points, overtaking AEK B’, which has four points.

Niki Volou is an easy task

Niki Volou easily beat Mytilini, won 2-0 against Aeolikos and even put the game away before 15 minutes were up.

Ribeiro scored the first goal in the fifth minute. In the 10th minute, Kritikos hit the post with a nice, strong shot, but two minutes later he scored and made the final score.
