Veria became champion of the first group of Super League 2

Veria defeated Thesprotos 3-1 away in the 33rd game of the first group of Super League 2 and secured first place with a game before the final. He will claim direct promotion to the Super League Interwetten against Levadiakos in double playoffs (he does not count away goals).

The guests made sure to keep the game clean from the first part. In the 10th minute, Pasha made it 1-0 with a shot, while Kuateng doubled his team’s goals in the 21st minute. Mourgos made it 3-0 in the 45th minute. In the 64th minute, the hosts reduced the deficit with a well-aimed penalty from Konstantinos.
