Superleague 2
Focuses on fighting to stay in the last lap
The battle to remain in Super League 2 has been at its peak since we reached the finals of the season. There is one team left in the two groups relegated to the Third National.
Super League 2 concludes with the 34th and final game and interest focuses on where the category remains and which teams will be relegated
Olympiakos Volou, Apollon Larissa are already relegated to the first group (unless they pay their penalties and the six-point penalty is disabled) and Trikala. Karaiskakis, Zakynthos and Rhodes have already been relegated to the second group.
In terms of promotion, Veria and Levadiakos have already secured first place and the winner of the playoffs secures promotion to the Super League Interwetten, while the loser gets a second chance with 13th of the playouts. Thus, interest focuses on the fourth team from each group that will be relegated to the third national team.
First group
With the current data, four teams are fighting for the rescue. Thesprotos has 33 points, one point less than Pierikos and Panserraikos, while Kavala, which is below the relegation zone, has 31 points.
Igoumenitsa’s team meets Apollon Pontou in Thessaloniki, while Panserraikos has to overcome Niki Volou’s obstacle to stay in the category. Toughest are Pierikos, who is on a break after fulfilling his racing obligations, and Kavala, who faces champion Veria in his fiesta for first place in the first group.
second group
In this group, the struggle for survival is even more interesting. Four teams are fighting for relegation, while Panathinaikos B’, who are in dangerous positions, can also play their part in the duel.
If, after completing the 34th race, the greens are below the relegation zone, the 12th, which is above the relegation zone, will be relegated. Asteras Vlachioti has 35 points out of 34 for Herodotos, OF Ierapetra and Panathinaikos B’, while Diagoras has 33 and is below the relegation zone.
In the final game, Herodotus welcomes Asteras Vlachiotis in a game that has a “do or die” character under certain conditions. OF Ierapetra meets the already relegated Zakynthos in Vouzounerakeio and Diagoras Egaleo. Panathinaikos B’ (who is indirectly involved in the battle) faces the diocese in Rethymno.
