With Ayub the mission of Panathinaikos B ‘for the game with Ierapetra

For the second game in a row, Ayub has been included in the Panathinaikos B mission in view of Wednesday’s (19/1) game with OF Ierapetra at Kallithea stadium in a postponed game for Super League 2.

The Moroccan midfielder played against Herodotus and now also plays against the side from Ierapetra. In a match that will be the first on the bench for the club’s new manager Javier Bathketh, who officially took over the shamrock on Tuesday midday, he completed his first training session a few hours later and then announced his first appearance.

It consists of 19 players with several children from K19, while Dambizas was out due to muscle injuries and the injured Vagiannidis, Panka, Sourdis, Serpezis. The relevant press release states:

“Panathinaikos B’s preparation for the postponed match with OF Ierapetra (19.01, 15:00) in Kallithea Municipal Stadium “Grigoris Lambrakis” for the 11th match of the Betsson Super League 2 was completed today with training in Koropi at noon.

Warming up, pace and close quarters play were on the Greens’ agenda, while Dambizas was sidelined with a muscle injury.

Injured Vagiannidis and Panka were absent from training while Sourdis and Serpezis continued their rehabilitation programme.

After the end of training, initially led by Javier Bathketh, the Spanish coach announced the players who have been included in the game’s mission.

These are: Ayub, Athanasakopoulos, Antoniou, Iliadis, Theocharis, Karvounis, Koutsias, Kryparakos, Martinis, Matsades, Bilal, Economakis, Pavlakis, Robi, Sardelis, Tourkochoritis, Tsirigotos, Frokou”.
