AEK B’ – Diocese 1-0: Return to wins with Cornezo

AEK B’ with a header from Kornezos defeated Episkopi 1-0 in OAKA to return to wins and stay top of the table.

AEK B’ welcomed Episkopi to OAKA, where they played for the first time, as part of game 15 and prevailed 1-0, returning to wins and remaining at the top of the table.

The Union’s “golden goal” was scored by Kornezos in the 69th minute with a header in the second part of the game, while Guinness saved a shot from the height of the small penalty area in the delays and kept the zero in AEK’s defence.

This was AEK’s eighth win after 13 games, with the Yellow-Blacks adding four more draws and one loss.

The hosts were better throughout the game, they threatened first when pIn the 12th minute Judas Giarsia gave Stamoulis what he did, he made the sliding cross but Andrikopoulos chased saves. ΣIn 35′ we had the biggest phase of the first half when Amour crossed from the left, the ball passed to Christopoulos but his shot went just wide.

AEK threatened in the first and second half. In the 66th minute, substitute Roukounakis took the corner from the right and Christopoulos caught his head, but Arvanitis failed to put the ball in the net with an advantage.

In the 69th minute, AEK scored after a foul by Roukounakis and a header by Kornezos, who defeated Kalantzis.

The hosts closed in their frames to keep the result in their favor and at 90+4 the Diocese had a good time to equalize the tie. After a foul, Dargisio found himself in the penalty area, took the shot, but Guinness kicked the ball away.
