Kifissia: Tetei acquired Greek citizenship
Kifissia’s first goalscorer, Andreas Tetei, has after a long wait secured Greek citizenship and no longer holds international office and can even be called up for the national team.
Andreas Tetei won the battle with the bureaucracy and managed to secure the papers certifying that he is a Greek citizen.
Originally from Ghana (via his father) and Sierra Leone (via his mother), the Kifissia forward was granted Greek citizenship after a lengthy process.
The 21-year-old footballer was born and raised in Athens, his mother came to our country for permanent residence in 1995 (his father died when he was only eight months old).
Now the first goalscorer of the season in Kifissia with 13 goals does not occupy an overseas position and can even be used in the national team of Greece, either at K21 level or in the men’s.
