Xanthi and Iraklis did not get a license in the second degree either

The EPO’s licensing body said it would not grant a license to Xanthi and Iraklis, whose files would not be “taken” even in the second degree.

The Second Disciplinary Body reviewed the files submitted by Xanthi and Iraklis in order to obtain a second degree license, but both teams’ files were deemed insufficient and were not approved.

It is recalled that the PAE that does not appeal or is rejected in the second degree will be penalized with a fine of 10,000 euros and will not be able to accommodate players over 25, except for three. They can accommodate unlimited Greeks and foreigners under the age of 23.

During the first proceedings, the following (Super League 1 and Super League 2) were licensed by: EgaleoKalamata, Chania, Levadiakos (Super League 1 license), Anagennisi Karditsa, Kallithea, Veria, Panserraikos, Niki Volou, Kifissia, Asteras Vlachioti (relegated to Third National).

On the contrary: Apollon Pontou, Thesprotos, Ergotelis, OFI, Episkopi, Apollon Larissa, AEL, Xanthi, Almopos, Iraklis and Herodotus, as well Olympiakos Volou, Karaiskakis Arta, Pierikos, Kavala, Trikala and Zakynthos who have been relegated.

a) the file of the sports club with the name “TRANGLIA PANATHLITIKO CLUB O IRAKLIS PAE” and the number 16158 / 24-6-2022 Appeal of the above mentioned club against the decision number 43 / 21.6.2022 of the POA and made the following decision:

It formally accepts the complaint and essentially rejects it.

b) the file of the sports club with the name “AO XANTHIS PAE » and the number 16165 / 27.6.2022 Appeal of the above mentioned club against the decision number 40 / 21.6.2022 of the POA and made the following decision:

Rejects the complaint as inadmissible“.
