With its announcement, FIFPro warns professional players not to register in Super League 2, but also in other six leagues, pointing out that the violations in the Greek league have financial reasons.

The International Federation of Professional Footballers, FIF Proof which he is a member PSAPP and 65 other federations issued a statement urging professional footballers not to register in seven leagues, including Super League 2, the second tier of Greek football.

Regarding Super League 2, FIFPro stated the following: “In the second Greek division, clubs are locked out (either dissolved or relegated to the 3rd division), often without paying their debts. In the last two years, Greece has been the country with the most players wanting to receive part of their outstanding salary from the FIFA Player Protection Fund“.

The other leagues where FIFPro asks players not to sign are in Romania, Turkey, Algeria, China, Saudi Arabia and Libya.
