Davelis: “The great march to revitalize AEL has begun”
Achilleas Davelis sent a message to friends of AEL regarding the formal completion of Alexis Kouya’s acquisition of the Maroon shares.
Achilleas Davelis is a breath away from officially taking over AEL’s majority package from Alexis Kouya and sent a “message” to the team’s friends in light of the new era of the Crimson, stressing that the path to regeneration of the team is on began.
Achillea Daveli’s message in detail: “friends,
In anticipation of today’s change of management at our beloved AEL, we all have a moral duty to ensure a smooth transition of leadership and respect the historical legacy of the great Larissa football team.
Therefore, in the concept of the historical legacy, we must, among other things, appropriately and institutionally award the person of the outgoing President the honorable mention.
As of tonight, Alexis Kougias will be counted among the Presidents who have led the team for years, fought for its interests and, last but not least, kept his word and made sure it is back in Larisa’s hands.
And since we will all be reassessed from June 7th, 2022, none of our personal opinions should cloud this historical change of sides.
Those who don’t get this message could only derail the great collaborative effort for AEL that is now beginning.
We have no right to point to the glorious history of our legendary team if we don’t respect part of it. Criticism is one thing, respect for institutions is another.
INSTITUTIONS HAVE CONSISTENCY AND CONTINUITY.
AEL did not arise from parthenogenesis, nor does it have the founding year of 2015. All the Presidents who have served it have more or less honored it with their signature and contribution.
Let’s do justice to the occasion and honor our guests in a way that suits our culture.
The great march for AEL’s renaissance has only just begun“.
