With its announcement, the EPA is sounding the alarm bell regarding the possibility of hosting the championships of the Football League, the Third National Division and the First National Women,

With its announcement, the Hellenic Football Association is sounding the alarm about the possibility of hosting the Football League, the 3rd National Division and the 1st National Women’s Championship if training does not start immediately. The EPO announces that it has already submitted the relevant proposed plan – which includes the full health protocol required.

“With full respect for the management needs of the current situation, we ask everyone to be aware that the time frame for holding these tournaments is running out and the survival of hundreds of families is now imminent.” it says in the announcement of the EPO.

The EPO’s announcement:

“Dozens of professional and amateur teams, hundreds of soccer workers and their families and thousands of soccer players live every day with the fear and anticipation of getting back on the field and the regularity of their daily activities.

The decision rests in the hands of the competent scientists charged with taking effective measures to protect public health.

In this suffocating context, the Hellenic Football Association has already submitted the relevant proposed plan to ministers – which contains the required full health protocol – and with successive initiatives and ongoing communications. Voridis and Kikilia, the Deputy Minister for Culture and Sport, Mr. Avgenakis, and the Secretary General of the Ministry. Mr. Prezerakos, has repeatedly encouraged the Scientific Committee to proceed with the approval of the protocol (or its improvement if necessary) and consequently the motion to start training for the football league teams, the DG Nationale and the National Women’s category.

With full respect for the management needs of the current situation, we ask everyone to be aware that the time frame for these tournaments is running out and the survival of hundreds of families is now imminently at risk..
