Super League 2: The promotion playoffs from the 3rd National League

The mini-league draw for promotion from the 3rd National to the Super League 2 took place on Wednesday. The lottery and for the promotion of the EPS.

On Wednesday morning, the draws for the promotion playoffs of the 3rd national team to the Super League 2 took place in a central hotel in Athens.

The winners of the five groups of the Greek League’s third tier form a new league of ten games in two rounds, and the teams finishing in the top four places are promoted to Super League 2.

The mini-league is scheduled to start on May 6th and each matchday one team has a day off.

The playoff schedule

1st matchday

  • 5th group champion – 2nd group champion
  • 1st Group Champion – 4th Group Champion
  • Day off: 3rd group champion

2nd matchday

  • 2nd Group Champion – 1st Group Champion
  • 4th Group Champion – 3rd Group ChampionRep
  • Day off: 5th group champion

3rd matchday

  • 1st Group Champion – 5th Group Champion
  • 3rd Group Champion – 2nd Group Champion
  • Day off: 4th group champion

4th matchday

  • 5th group champion – 3rd group champion
  • 2nd Group Champion – 4th Group Champion
  • Day off: Champion of the 1st group

5th matchday

  • 4th group champion – 5th group champion
  • 3rd Group Champion – 1st Group Champion
  • Day off: 2nd group champion

The draw for promotion to the 3rd Bundesliga

The promotion playoffs from the EPS to the 3rd national team were also drawn, in which the 53 champions from the local associations and the three runners-up in Athens, Piraeus and Macedonia compete.

The 56 teams are divided into eight groups of seven and play six games, three at home and three away.

  2. Champion of Imathia, Champion of Kilkis, Champion of Florina, Champion of Halkidiki, Vice Champion of Macedonia, Champion of Pella, Champion of Pieria
  3. Champion of Aetoloakarnania, Champion of Arta, Champion of Corfu, Champion of Preveza/Lefkada, Champion of Epirus, Champion of Thesprotia, Champion of Kastoria
  4. Champion of Grevena, Champion of Thessaly, Champion of Trikala, Champion of Fthiotida, Champion of Karditsa, Champion of Kozani, Champion of Larissa
  5. Champion of Arcadia, Champion of Achaea, Champion of Laconia, Champion of Messenia, Champion of Zakynthos, Champion of Ilia, Champion of Kefalonia/Ithaka
  6. Winner of Argolis, Winner of Boeotia, Second of Piraeus, Winner of Phocis, Winner of Euboea, Winner of Evrytania, Winner of Corinth
  7. Vice champion of Athens. Winners of West Attica, Winners of Rethymnon, Winners of Chania, Winners of Heraklion, Winners of Lasithi, Winners of Piraeus

  • EPS of Grevena and Lasithi do not participate and the opposing teams win without a match
