Moras: Elassona took over
Vangelis Moras is now starting a coaching career and has reached an agreement with Elassona, who officially announced his appointment.
Vangelis Moras ended his football career at the age of 39 and began his coaching career a few days later. The Greek national defender, who has already received his first coaching diplomas, agreed to Elassona, whom he will lead in the championship of the Third National.
The cooperation between the two teams was presented on Monday (07.12.) With all the formalities and Vangelis Moras is now preparing for a different course in the stadiums.
The announcement in detail:
“Start of cooperation with trainer Vangelis Moras. The Board of Directors of PO Elassona is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Vangelis Moras for the position of coach of the men’s team for the 2021-22 season.
We are very happy that Vangelis Moras will take his first steps as a coach in our club. We believe that his experience will give our children the fighting spirit that has made him stand out as a sportsman in teams in our country, but also in Italy and England.
Significantly, he played for the teams AEL, Proodeftiki, AEK, Bologna, Swansea, Cesena, Hellas Verona, Bari, Panetoliko and Apollon Larissa, while he was international with the Greek national team between 2009 and 2016 and had a total of 27 players.
We welcome him to the WTO family and above all we wish him health, strength, many successes with our team and a coaching career on a par with football ”.
