EPS Corfu filed a complaint for attacking AE Lefkimmi fans with clubs and knives from Alexander the Great of Imathia, but also for the behavior of the match’s referee.

EPS Corfu complained terribly about what happened in the match between Megas Alexandros Imathias and AE Lefkimmi for the Third National.

More precisely, in a letter to him Citizen Protection Minister Panagiotis Theodorikakos denounced an attack by home fans’ supporters on the visitors with batons and knives, even injuring members of AE Lefkimmi.

The letter in detail: With this letter we want to express our indignation at the sad events that took place yesterday, Sunday 04/03/2022 in the football match for the championship of the Third National League between the clubs M. ALEXANDROS IMATHIAS -AE LEFKIM Hellenic Police and in particular from AT Alexandria Imathia.

We would like to inform you that two administrators of the AE LEFKIMMIS association are being treated in a prefectural hospital and we ask that you consider responsibility for the serious injuries suffered by each gentleman.

We would also like to inform you that towards the end of the game, a home team batmen (M. ALEXANDROS IMATHIAS) entered the part of the stands where the fans of AE LEFKIMMIS were sitting and there were hand-to-hand clashes as well She was stabbed with the connivance of the police forces guarding the area.

“Dear Minister, we know your sensitivity to such events and as Greek football cannot bear other deaths, we sincerely request that you investigate the validity of these sad events and inform us.”

Incredible complaints about the match referee

In addition, EPS Corfu issued an announcement against the referee of the game that decided the hosts 2-1 winners.

The referee Costas Sidiropoulos suggested three penalties in favor of the hosts, the third of which was in the delay of the game, which resulted in Alexander the Great’s winning goal from Trikala, Imathia.

The behavior of the referee, who is said to have insulted the guest coach, is highlighted.

The announcement in detail: “We have been a new government for five months and never thought that in such a short time we would become the Kharkiv of amateur football.

Because we alone – small – are insignificant and naive enough to believe that the new order of things in Greek football will be different from the sad past.

Yesterday, April 3, at Alexander the Great’s stadium in Imathia, a team from an island played a football match, the referee was appointed by the Arbitration Committee of the EPO, a Mr Sidiropoulos, who is otherwise known throughout northern Greece for his athyrostomy, evidently for his hate football.

Despite the harassment of the EPO Arbitration Committee by the agents of EPS Corfu and the team of AE LEFKIMMIS, they insisted on this tragic decision and implanted it knowing the possible side effects.

The Senior Vice President of the EPO and President of EPS PELLAS, retains and knows the specific referee in the football community and his past. WHY;

Apart from his brutal and criminal mistakes which can be summarized as follows: 3 penalties against AE LEFKIMMIS, the last one in the 98th minute, 5 red cards all against AEL, the special referee had the nerve to humiliate everyone throughout the game.

Case in point is the red card, to the coach of AEL KOROMBOKI PANAGIOTIS, where he would also need a lawsuit against him with the phrase “TAKE THE RED G @@ O YOUR MOTHER WHERE WILL YOU SHARE ME IF I FINISH MORE”. Pages that of course represent the definition of Greek football slander. WHY;

We informed the Minister of Civil Protection and the Chief of the Greek Police about the sad events during and at the end of the football match.

In short, events have taken place that the criminal justice system will deal with the lawsuits filed by those involved.

Dear Sirs,

“We refuse to serve this football.”
