Giorgos Manousos is officially a player of Aeolikos, 15 years after leaving the Lesvos team, ending a very important career in the big leagues.
Giorgos Manousos is officially an Aeolik player. Fifteen years after his departure, the 35-year-old striker returned to Mytilini and the team that promoted him. With her jersey she played 71 times and scored 11 goals in the 3rd National Championship and the Greek Cup in the three years 2005-2008.

“PAE Aeolikos is very pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with football player Giorgos Manousos!
The 35-year-old (born March 12, 1987) Mytilini striker returns home after 15 years and an impressive career in Greek football with more than 470 appearances and 110 goals in domestic divisions and European competitions.
Manousos began his professional career at Aeolikos, where he took part in 71 games in the 3rd National League and the Greek Cup in the three years 2005-2008, scoring 11 goals.
Then, in the summer of 2008, he was transferred to OFI, with whom he played in 14 games in the First National League and 24 games in the Second National League and the Greek Cup, scoring 6 goals. He returned to Lesbos in 2011 for AELK and played a total of 170 games and 40 goals in the Football League (2011–13) and Super League (2013–16).
He played continuously in the Super League for a decade and also wore the jerseys of Platanias (2016-17, 30 games – 9 goals) and Atromitos (2017-21, 97 games – 32 goals), with whom he also played in 6 European Championships League games with 4 goals and Lamia (2021-23, 60 games – 9 goals).
