A football player lost consciousness in Ilioupoli – Ermionida and was hospitalized
A soccer player from Ilioupolis fell to the ground while playing with Ermionida for the DG National. He was taken to the hospital incommunicado and died shortly thereafter.
Shocking scenes played out in Ilioupoli’s game against Ermionida for the Third National. Home team footballer Alexandros Lampis collapsed in the game, doctors tried to get him. In fact, they massaged him for 20 minutes.
The defibrillator was slow to arrive on the field even though it was on the field. The ambulance, which was not on the field, arrived after 15 minutes. According to the officials, the player was taken to Alexandra Hospital with a minimal pulse and no contact with the environment.
The game finally stopped, the ambulance drove away and the crowd applauded.
The young man later died despite the efforts of local doctors to keep him alive.
