In Proodeftiki and Makedonikos the last two tickets for Super League 2

The Third National mini-championship has been completed and the final two tickets to next season’s Super League 2 have been finalized. Proodeftiki returned to the second division after 15 years, defeating champions and champions Panachaiki 2–1 at home.

Alexiou opened the scoring for “Proo” in the 7th minute of the game, with the same player scoring two goals for his team in the 30th minute. In the delays of the second part, Kerry reduced for the Patras. Thus, Proodeftiki reached 10 points and got Agrotiko Asteras on the 2nd place, promoted to the second category from the previous game.

In the other decisive game of the game, Makedonikos and PAO Rouf drew 2-2. Thus, the Thessaloniki team managed promotion, leaving PAO Rouf out of the top 4 with seven points. Garyfallos opened the scoring for the visitors but Nitsakis gave Rouf’s side hope again. Garyfallos made it 1-2, Filimega equalized in the 90′. However, the draw was not enough for the hosts.

Hoping for promotion, Ilioupoli defeated Iraklis Larissa 5-2 but the other results didn’t speak for him and he finished 5th with seven points. The hosts took a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Busai (4′), Zelo (13′) and Buxton (30′). Gika (45+2′) and Papadopoulos (56′) shortened, but Gemistos in 62′ and Tavares (82′) made up the final score.
