Amrabad steps into Morocco’s World Cup qualifiers
Nordin Amrabat has been chosen to coach Morocco’s national team for the World Cup, the country’s website reports. Valid Regraghi appears to have 50 players on its starting list.
According to a report on the Moroccan website, Nordin Amrabat is in Walid Regaghi’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar. The AEK midfielder last played for the national team in November 2019.
The national coach called up 50 players in his first pre-selection, he will first drop 20 players and travel to Spain at 30 for a mini-preparation and then select the players he will take with him to the World Cup.
Of course, Hakim Zigies’ pre-selection call is causing a stir, as the Moroccan midfielder from Chelsea was absent from national team appeals due to poor relations with Vahid Halilhodzic.
