Mbappe eventually attended the France national team’s sponsored photo shoot after the federation pulled out
Kylian Mbappe attended the France national team’s sponsored photoshoot as normal as the federation backed out in a row with the Parisian superstar on Monday.
On Monday (September 20th), the dispute between Mbappe and the French association intensified. The Paris Saint-Germain star initially refused to take part in a photo shoot for an advertising campaign with the rest of the France national team.
The reason was the FFF’s refusal to revise the agreement on how to deal with its image. Finally, on Monday night, the federation backed down and issued a statement announcing it would be revising the international footballers’ portrayal rights agreement.
That dispute has been put on hold, at least temporarily, and Mbappe faced France’s sponsorship obligations on Tuesday. These are photos and film footage used by the companies collaborating with the French federation during the World Cup in Qatar.
