Ten national teams have decided to support the “One Love” campaign and thus send a clear signal against discrimination. Their captains will wear the special armband at Nations League and World Cup 2022 matches in Qatar.
Football is against racism and is ready to send a clear signal against discrimination. Ten national teams adecided to join the OneLove campaign to promote the fight against discrimination.
“We are joining nine other European countries in supporting OneLove, a campaign that will use the power of football to send a message against discrimination.” wrote the England national team in their statement.
Besides England, the other nine teams that will take part are France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Wales.
Team captains will wear a special rainbow armband for matches in the Nations League and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which begins on November 20.
