Algorithm that found the 2014 and 2018 world champion “sees” the Argentine winner in Qatar
Joachim Clemen’s algorithm (stockbroker Liberum Capital), who correctly guessed the winners of the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, “sees” this time that Lionel Messi’s Argentina will celebrate at the end.
With just under two months to go until the World Cup in Qatar, teams and fans alike have gotten into the rhythm of the top footballing institution.
Including the predictions for the possible winners of the competition, since many teams go to the tournament with the goal of winning the cup. One of them was a scientific prediction. Joachim Clemens created an algorithm (stock broker Liberum Capital)with which he predicts the winner of the tournament and this time his “benefit” is that the winner will be Argentina.
This particular algorithm is inspired by a study by the University of Nottingham, which takes all the data from the groups. From their stock market value to the climate that prevails in each country combined with the climate and weather conditions that prevail in the countries (and cities) where the games are held.
It should be noted that Clement made correct predictions at the previous two World Cups by correctly guessing that Germany will win the World Cup in 2014 and France in 2018. It remains to be seen if he will ‘fall in’ for a third time. Amongst others, Lionel Messi is delighted, eager to win this special trophy.
