Allegedly, on Wednesday, October 5, at UEFA headquarters, the football leaders of Spain and Portugal will have to officially announce such an initiative.
Recall that the next World Cup will be held in Qatar in November-December this year. The next World Cup in 2026 will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. The venue of the 2030 World Cup will be announced at the 74th FIFA Congress, scheduled for 2024.
