OFFICIAL: Ukraine to compete for the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal
Ukraine has joined the joint application of Spain and Portugal for the right to host the final part of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. This was reported by the official website of the Football Federation of Ukraine.
The Spanish and Portuguese football federations have already received UEFA support to expand the application, and the conditions for participation and participation for Ukraine will be determined later.
In addition, officials from the Ukrainian delegation should be included in the composition of the 2030 World Cup coordinating committee.
The message on Ukraine’s inclusion in the application to host the World Cup reads, “The example of the perseverance and resilience of the Ukrainian people is inspiring, so this proposal aims to contribute to the restoration of the country through the power of football.” It says 2030.
